My coaching clients are supervisors, managers, and C-level leaders. In almost every situation that I encounter with the coaching client, the coachee is usually pretty unaware of the perceptions of those around them. Image management speaks to a concept entitled the invisible resume. Individuals with strong invisible resumes have people speaking positively about them when they are not around.
